Context and research
Fig I-II (left): my initial explorations of potential pathways to take my project upon recieving the prompts.

Fig III-IV (below): contextual influence sheets created to show the general aesthetics and themes that inspired my development

Brutalist Context sheet
A collection of images sourced to inspire the shapes and structures of my body adornments. Designs from primarily Ex-Soviet nations by designers such as Andrey Meerson, Victor Djorbendaze and Serdyukov Yevgeny

Adornment designs:
Explorations of shape and structure informed by Brutalism within my designs, These are the final sketches for my designs as the drafts were too damaged to scan.
Further Investigation of Influences:
Development of my ideas after designing my adornments, delving further into my influences to form a pathway to take my designs down in order to create a more fully formed project and plan how to present my garments in their final form.

Garment presentation concepts;
Plans for the presentation of my final piees, focussing on negative space, poses, shadow and briefly outlining the general concept of having them be 'intentionally mundane' or propaganda for a life of perpetual boredom, as outlined in the images above. These are as far as can be shown for this project as unfortunately Brighton MET was unable to find the more final designs i left with my tutor. The garments remain unfinished due to COVID limitations.
